Our Approach

At The Gingerbread House, we provide a warm and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. Our nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, integrating elements of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and the Curiosity Approach to foster a love for learning through play, creativity, and hands-on experiences.

We believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals, helping children develop confidence, independence, and social skills that prepare them for school and beyond. To enhance their early years’ journey, we also offer French, Yoga, and Dance lessons, promoting language development, mindfulness, and self-expression.

With a passionate and dedicated team, The Gingerbread House is a place where every child is valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential in a fun and stimulating environment.

When I hear other mothers' stories about different nurseries, I feel so fortunate that we found Gingerbread House! The staff genuinely care, and our daughter, who started there at 9 months, absolutely loves it. We are incredibly grateful to all the staff, especially Tunde, Carla, Hollie, Kira, and Frankie.

We recently moved to the area and my son started attending the Gingerbread House Nursery last month. So far, we have been very impressed with the nursery. My son gets very attached and it took him a long time to settle into his last nursery. The staff at the Gingerbread House are very caring, they understand my son's needs and they have been very patient with him.

The staff are very friendly and they keep you updated throughout the day. I can highly recommend this nursery!

Josie

Working with children is a source of pure joy for me. I relish engaging with their unique characters through creative exploration and play. Supporting their early childhood development is incredibly rewarding. Outside of work, I find balance in hobbies like walking, styling hair, and hitting the gym.

I choose childcare because i love to teach children all the things i learned and nothing is more rewarding to see the spark in their eyes when they achieve a goal and enjoy the praise and love i give back.
Hobbies: I love to paint or make sketch work. i also love to read all different kind of books and go to the cinema.

Hello, I'm Hollie'. I originally wanted to enter the field of childcare because I loved the idea of shaping little minds! My new passion is helping the Children get creative and messy, as i love to paint outside of work, and sharing this passion with the children is wonderful.
